I want this cool watch.
We all know the watches from TokyoFlash. Weird, geeky, some even stylish. Most of them are LED-watches, meaning that you have to press a button if you want to see the time, but that time can be shown in pretty impressive (in a geeky way of course) way.
The Shinshoku (Corrosion) is the newest watch they’ve released. It’s aiming for an industrial look; in fact, it’s basically a bracelet made out of an aluminium band with holes punched in it.
Beneath 29 of these holes there are LEDs. You can choose between LEDs of different colors(red, green, yellow) or the same colors, which will make the watch even more cryptic, and also impractical in the dark, as only the shallow etching in the middle will have to be seen.
The principle is rather simple. The red(left side) LEDs show the hour, the bottom right 3 LEDs (green) show elapsed 15 minutes-intervals, and the top right ones (yellow) shows single minutes past the last quarter hour.
You can choose between the 3-colors, only green or only red LED’s. It fits wrists of up to 9 inches and weighs 90 grams. You can also wear it when at the pool, as it’s water resistant up to 3 atm.
